Blowing off the dust?

I find it amazing that water can be transferred through pipes (its all pipes, Jerry!) from the treatment plant to my house. Clean water, free from bacteria and other contaminants. My sink and faucet are very clean, as well.

Upon further inspection, breaking out my macro lens, it is not nearly as clean as I thought.

Gives me the willies!

Some flower pictures:

I bought some Lilies for Julia a few days ago and got some nice shots of the plant trying to asexually reproduce!

Now for the new pictures!

Julia and I went up to Heber and into the mountains for our day off on Wednesday and got some great pictures of the autumn all around us. These are some of the good ones that turned out.

Some Classics

These were taken on a trip to New York City in late July. I got some good rainy shots. It was so much better than I thought it was going to be. New Yorkers were much friendlier than I thought they would have been. We were constantly steered in the right direction and helped out wherever we went.

Just a little blog devoted to my various photographic exploits...

Since Julia and I have a blog devoted to keeping everyone up to date with the goings on of our lives, I figure I can use this space to develop my love for photography.

As of yet, I have an Olympus E-510 with a 14-42mm lens, a 40-150mm lens, and a nice tripod. I am looking to buy a good remote and a better flash as well in the upcoming months. I only have a few things so far, but already I can see my skills improving.
